The operating principle of the Thermal Cutoffs.

溫度保險絲有軸向導線型和徑向導線型兩種,其基本設計和工作原理相同。

Tamura Thermal cutoffs are available in two types,Axial type Radial type.
The operating principle of both types is basically the same.

在低融點可熔合金上焊接導線(鍍錫軟銅線), 可熔合金表面塗敷特殊樹脂,以保證確切熔斷, 然後插入絕緣殼 內, 用密封劑完全封住導線開口部分.

STRUCTURE

Tin/Lead plated soft copper wire leads are welded to a fusible alloy with a specific melting point.
Special resins coat the alloy in order to prevent surface oxidation and to ensure complete cutoff at melting poin.
The fusible alloy is completely insulated case by sealing the leads and case with seal material.

工作原理
當設備溫度異常升高時,溫度保險絲主體和導線感應熱度,到熱度到達可熔金的融點時,可熔合金熔化.
熔化的可熔合金在特殊樹脂的作用下,表面張力增強,使導線呈球狀熔斷.

WORKING THEORY

OPERATING PRINCIPLE
When thermal cutoff sense a abnormal heat cause by abnormal operating of component/equipment through thermal cutoff body and leads wire, the fusible alloy melt by reaching at the temperature of the melting point of the alloy.
An electrial circuit of the thermal cutoff is opened with forming two seperate balls at the edges of the leads by surface tension of the melted fusible alloy.
Special resin accelerate the surface tension of the melted fusible alloy.
