溫度保險絲﹝TAMURA﹞:
溫度保險絲安裝設計注意事項
(1)安裝應安裝在受熱均勻的位置
(2)導線儘量拉長,以易於感應熱度
導線形狀和安裝注意事項
(1)折彎使用導線時,應從距離成形部分3毫米以上的部分折彎.(參看圖-2)
(2)折彎時,注意不得損傷成形部分和導線(參看表-1)
(3)不得強行牽拉,按壓,扭擰導線
(4)安裝和連接時,應注意溫度保險絲和導線不得外加機械性壓力
(5)安裝溫度保險絲時,應有足夠的空間
不得強行按入,捲入線圈內時,應注意不要損傷溫度保險絲

導線焊接作業(N,VS,H,HA,V,E,Y型)
(1)注意不得在溫度保險絲上外加焊接高溫
(2)表-2列出錫63%, thermal cutoff時的焊接時間參考值,應將加熱限制在最小.
(3)焊接作業時,不得強行牽拉,按壓,扭擰溫度保險絲和導線
(4)焊接完畢後,應冷卻30秒以上.
在冷卻時間內,不得移動溫度保險絲和導線

導線焊接作業(P,PA型)
(1)注意不得在溫度保險絲上外加焊接高溫
(2)表-3列出錫63%,265±3℃時兩次焊接時間參考值(焊接間隔5分鐘以上),應將加熱限制在最小.
(3)焊接作業時,不得強行牽拉,按壓,扭擰溫度保險絲和導線
(4)焊接完畢後,應冷卻5分以上.
在冷卻時間內,不得移動溫度保險絲和導線

本資料闡述溫度保險絲功能的使用注意事項.
使用前務必閱讀,充分理解
為發揮溫度保險絲的功能,客戶需要適當保管溫度保險絲並按照使用目的設計電路,安裝和調試,若使用不當而
造成事故,屬於客戶責任,本公司概不負責,請予以注意.
本產品只能用作溫度保險絲,不得用於其他用途
溫度保險絲的目的是感應異常升高的熱度,切斷電路,並不具備電流保險絲的功能,若用作電流保險絲,不僅
在過載電流時無法熔斷,而且不能發揮溫度保險絲的功能,造成事故.
本產品不得用於宇航設備,航空設備,原子能發電控制系統,生命維持裝置和運
輸設備發動機控制裝置和安全裝置等.
本產品用於家用電器,辦公設備,音視頻設備(音響,圖像裝置),電腦,通信設備,測量設備,個人裝置,運輸設
備中與發動機控制開關的裝置.
溫度保險絲只能在規格中規定的額定電壓,額定電流和指定溫度的條件下使用.
若在超過額定電壓,額定電流和指定溫度的條件下使用,溫度保險絲將不能保證正常工作.
溫度保險絲不得在水中,有機溶劑等液體中,亞硫酸氣和氧化氮等腐蝕性氣體中
及潮濕場所使用.否則可造成溫度保險絲材質老化,不能保證正常工作.
客戶需要自行選擇和決定適當的溫度保險絲種類,安裝位置,安裝方法.
客戶為評估自行決定的事項是否妥當,應將溫度保險絲按照使用狀態安裝後,在通常使用狀態下和盡可能預測
的狀態下,反覆試驗,予以確認.
HANDLING AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
When using thermal cutoff, considerable caution should be exercised as to the points descrobed below:
Cautions for installation of thermal cutoffs
(1)Mount a thermal cutoff in a position where uniform radiation of heat is applied over the body
of the thermal cutoff.
(2)Set leads as long as possible in order to maximize the area of exposure to heat.
Cautions for lead configurations and installation
(1)When bending a lead,it should be bent a location about 3 mm from the body of the thermal
cutoff.( See Figure 2.)
(2)When bending a lead, take caution not to damage either the body
of the thermal cutoff or the lead. (See Table 1.)
(3)Keep the body of the thermal cutoff free of any force of pull, push or twist.
(4)Place and connect the thermal cutoff in the manner that any external machanic force will not
be appled on both the body of the thermal cutoff and the leads.
(5)Secure enough space for mounting a thermal cutoff. If circumstances require you to push it in
eith force or wind it in the coil, use caution not to damage the thermal cutoff.

Soldering
(1)Take caotion to minimize the conduction of excessive heat by soldering to the body of a
thermal cutoff.
(2)Maximam soldering time is shown in Table 2 at 400℃ in eutectic solder.
(3)Both a body and leads of a thermal cutoff should be free of any force of pull, push or
twisting during soldering.
(4)After soldering completed, leave the thermal cutoff for more than 30 seconds for cooling
without moving.

Soldering Leads(P & PA Type)
(1)Take caotion to minimize the conduction of excessive heat by soldering to the body of a
thermal cutoff.
(2)Maximam soldering time is shown in Table
(3)Both a body and leads of a thermal cutoff should be free of any
force of pull, push or twisting during soldering.
(4)After soldering completed, leave the thermal cutoff for more than 5 minutes for cooling
without moving.

ATTENTION TO BE TAKEN EHEN USING THERMAL CUTOFFS
This bulletin describes using method of Thermal Cutoffs to perform their abillity properly. When
you see Thermal Cutoffs, please read and understand this bulletin totally.
To give full ability of Thermal Cutoffs, it is necessary for customer that to store Thermal
Cutoffs properly and execute appropriate circuit design, proper installation , adequate
evaluation and tests for appliances or devices which Thermal Cutoffs intend to use.
We, manufacturer, do not bear the responsibility for a trouble which is caused by improper store,
inappropriate circuit design,improper installation and deficient and/or inappropriate
evaluations and tests.
Do not use Thermal Cutoffs for the purpose which is not suitable
for their operation.
Thermal Cutoffs operate only when they sense the abnormal temperature of surrounding.
Thermal Cutoffs have no ability to function by over current like as a current fuse.
Even if you use a Thermal Cutoff as a current fuse, it does not function by over current and
there is possiblity of abnormal operation and may result in accident or trouble.
Do not use Thermal Cutoffs in the equipment, appliance or device
which intend to use for Aero Space System, Aviation System, Nuclear Power Generation System,Life
Support System and Engine Control System or Safety Control System of Transporation System.
Thermal Cutoffs are applicable for the device or appliance of the Electronic or Electric
Equipment for household use. Office Automation
Equipment, Audio-Video Equipment, Communication System Equipment, Measuring Instrument or
Equipment and Transportation System except Engine Control and Safety Control.
Do not use Thermal Cutoffs exceeding the rating which is expressed
in or cataloge sheets.
The usage under overrating condition may result abnormal operating of Thermal Cutoffs.
Do not use Thermal Cutoffs in a liquid such as a water or a organic
solvent, in a corrosive atmosphere such as sulfurous gas or a nitrogen
oxide gas and in a high humidity atmosphere.
If you use Thermal Cutoffs in a above condition, there is the possibility of weaking of the
materials of the thermal cutoffs which cause abnormal operating of Thermal Cutoffs.
Customers shall choose proper Thermal Cutoffs appropriate for the
final application and shall be decided proper mounting position and/or mouting method in the
final application.
To judge whether the selected thermal cutoff is suitable for the application or not, we
recommend that the customer shall investigation in such a manner that the position and method
of mounting of the thermal cutoff under investigation is the same as the position and method
of the thermal cutoff of the actual device or appliance as much as possible and under the
condition of both normal and possible abnormal operating repeatedly.
